Karate maintenance is never ending

Pictured here is Sensei Barnhart, yesterday, pressure washing the 200 foot wall on the South Side of our Karate property. This was a 4 hour project, with a few ten minute breaks! Sensei Barnhart, the chief of maintenance, enjoys the focus of hands on work and he is unafraid to work hard. For some reason, Sensei Barnhart, even at the age of 70 does not like to ask for help with maintenance! After the pressure wash, however, he agreed to delegate the next step. The Taylor family is willing to paint and we’ll keep you posted with the step by step new look. There is a new “begin again” energy in our karate school. It feels good to be around people who love karate and understand work hard/ feel good both on and off the deck. Best wishes for a Happy, Healthy 2015 to all of you and yours. Arigato, Sensei Judy and Sensei Barnhart
